11 February 2020

Dutch Midterm Logistics Innovation Conference 2020

TKI Dinalog (Dutch Institute for Advanced Logistics) and NWO (Dutch Research Council) are funding around 60 research projects on innovative aspects of logistics in partnership with business. The researchers and companies involved in these projects were invited to conference in Ede on the 11 February 2020 to review the programme and identify priority themes for the period 2020-2023.  I participated as one of three international observers along with Professor Angela Bergantino (University of Bari Aldo Moro) and Professor Moritz Fleischmann (University of Mannheim).  Brief presentations were given by representatives from a sample of the ongoing projects in three subject areas: sustainability, digitalisation and supply chain co-ordination.
